Kovil Thiruvaimozhi – 4000 Divayaprabandham is in tamil and it is written by Nammazhvar , He was born in Alwarthirunagari, Tirunelveli dist. This hymns are in praise of Lord Vishnu . Mainly it is recited in all Vaishnavite temples of South India. These verses pasurams are recited daily in vishnu temples. It is considered very supreme hymns and equal to vedas. It praise Lord Vishnu and enlists the atma ( soul of mankind) . It elaborates Jiva Atma and Paramatma . It finally depicts all jivatamas goes into the paramatma. These verses are called pasurams. It describes the beauty of Lord Vishnu in Thirupathi , Lord Thiruvengadam Bhagawan.
